Authorities are investigating a vehicle fire that happened Friday morning at the St. Andrew Catholic Education Center’s parking lot.

According to officials from the Newtown Township Police Department, the cause of the fire is being probed, but its origin does not appear to be suspicious.

Police and Newtown Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene on Wrights Road at 7:44 a.m. after receiving a report of a vehicle ablaze. Upon arrival, they found the vehicle on fire and unoccupied.

It was confirmed that there were no injuries.

The fire did not cause any other property damage.

The fire came shortly before an unrelated school bus fire in Wrightstown Township.
