Vehicle Crashes Into Crumbl Cookies Storefront

The crash damaged the business.

A Newtown Township baked goods store was damaged when a vehicle crashed through the front it.

The crash happened around 2:55 p.m. at the Crumbl cookies shop in the Village of Newtown on Eagle Road.

Newtown Fire Rescue Chief Glenn Forsyth said there were no injuries in the crash.

Police said the structure was “being assessed for safety.”

Police are investigating the crash that left the store closed into Wednesday evening.
