The Council Rock School District is being sued in federal court by a New Jersey man.
In a lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Antonio Gonzalez claims negligence on the behalf of the school district caused him to fall and hurt himself on the loading dock at Holland Middle School in Northampton, according to PennRecord.com.
The basis for the suit centers around Gonzalez’s claim there was a dangerous amount of snow and ice around the loading dock, a PennRecord.com article states.
Gonzalez reportedly suffered serious injuries and they could be permanent, the website reported.
Council Rock School District officials did not respond to NewtownPANow.com’s request for comment on the lawsuit.
