The Bucks County Community College Foundation has a new board member and president.

The nonprofit fundraising arm of the public, two-year college recently appointed Katherine Sharp, district manager for the Walgreen Company, to its board of directors.

In addition, Constance M. Furman, Senior Vice President at the First National Bank and Trust Company of Newtown, was elected as President of the Board of Directors for the 2016-2017 fiscal year. Furman graduated from the community college with her associate degree in 1991, and became the first alumni to be appointed Board President since the organization’s founding in 1982.
