Wednesday marks the opening day of the 2016 Middletown Grange Fair.
The annual festival that draws people from around the region to the fairgrounds in Wrightstown will kick off at 10 a.m. when the Bucks County Commissioners hold their business meeting at the entertainment tent.
From noon on, the Grange Fair will be open and holding a variety of entertainment and agricultural displays and demonstrations. Rides from Skelly’s Amusements will be at the fairgrounds and open from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The cost per a carload to enter the Grange Fair is $10.
After days of extreme heat and humidity, weather for the first day of the Grange Fair is looking favorable. Temperatures during the day are expected to around 86 degrees with a light wind from the northwest. As the sun sets, temperatures area predicted to go into the mid-60s with a light north wind.
