Newtown Township police are investigating after electrical supplies and wire were taken during a burglary last week.
The burglary of units at the Metro Self Storage facility on Upper Silver Lake Road happened last Friday morning between 7:49 a.m. and 8:23 a.m., police said.
Various electrical supplies, coiled copper and spools of house wire were reportedly taken during the burglary.
Police said a tool consistent with a Dremel cutting wheel was used to enter the storage units. The padlocks were then placed to appear locked.
Surveillance video viewed by detectives captured the vehicle used by the burglar. The vehicle was described as a Dodge open dump with large chrome side mirrors and mud flaps.
