Employees of Bucks County Community College collected $6,500 worth of food and money leading up to the holidays.
The employees collected the food and money for the Bucks County Opportunity Council, which helps residents from around the county.
The donations were picked up recently at the Newtown Township campus.
Community college employees Bob Reed, Steve Hicks and Carol Ladd, joined by Heather Foor of the Bucks County Opportunity Council. On the truck is the Opportunity Council’s Dennis Denard.
