A trash truck fire happened in Upper Makefield.
Heavy smoke came from the blaze at Planetree Court and Spring Oak Drive on Monday morning.
The Upper Makefield Fire Company and township police responded and found the rear of the trash truck ablaze.
To hose down the burning garbage, the load was dumped onto the street and extinguished by firefighters, police said.
No injuries were reported.
