Upper Makefield police are investigating the burglary of a business.
Season’s Garden Center in the 1000 block of River Road in the Washington Crossing section of the township was hit in the burglary. It was discovered Friday and happened overnight.
“Surveillance video captured the suspect being dropped off in crossover style vehicle, just south of the business at approximately 130am. The suspect is seen carrying a claw hammer (right hand), which was used to gain entry by breaking out a glass panel on the side door of the building. The actor targeted the drop safe but was unsuccessful in removing it as it was bolted to the floor. The actor spent a little over a minute in the business before exiting through the front door of the building, running northbound on River Road,” police said.
