Delaware Valley Veterans Benefits Expo Being Held In Bucks County

The inaugural Delaware Valley Veterans Benefits Expo will be held in Lower Bucks County this week.

The free event that is open to veterans, spouses, widows, and children in the Delaware Valley will be hosted Friday from 1:45 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Parx East off Street Road in Bensalem. The event will kick off the Veterans Day weekend.

According to organizers, the event will include a Veterans Administration Town Hall Meeting from 3:30 to 5 p.m., a Women Veterans Conference from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and a Post-9/11 Veterans Conference from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

“Veterans from throughout the Philadelphia region will have an opportunity to learn more about the benefits available to them at an estimated 80 exhibit tables. Among the exhibitors will be the Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, the VA Regional Office, the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Pennsylvania Career Link, Veterans Upward Bound and the Coatesville VA Medical Center,” organizers said.

The Delaware Valley Veterans Benefits Expo is hosted by the Bucks County Veterans Affairs Department, Parx Casino, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
