Three more Bucks Countians with COVID-19 died on Saturday.

A 64-year-old man, a 73-year-old woman, and a 89-year-old man died. All three had underlying conditions, county officials said.

Of the county’s 68 new COVID-19 cases, almost none were through community spread, said Dr. David Damsker, the county health department director.

“This is working,” Damsker said of the social distancing and mitigation efforts.

The new cases were “heavily concentrated in healthcare workers and residents of congregate care facilities,” a county statement said, citing Damsker.

The county had 1,170 cases as of Saturday with 83 patients in the hospital and 23 of them on ventilators.

Officials said 179 Bucks Countians have recovered from COVID-19 and 35 have died.
