12 New COVID-19 Deaths As Community Spread Remains Low

On Thursday, Bucks County added 12 new COVID-19 patient deaths to their count.

The residents all had underlying health conditions. All but two lived in long-term care centers, and all but two were over the age of 75, county officials said.

On Thursday, the county’s count of Bucks Countians with COVID-19 who have died reached 300.

A total of 106 new positive cases were reported on Thursday, bringing the number to 3,706. Only seven of the 106 new cases were caused by community spread, and a large portion were connected to long-term care centers.

One hundred eighty-nine COVID-19 patients in Bucks County were in hospitals. As of Thursday night, 20 patients were in critical condition on ventilators.

So far, 986 patients have recovered.
