Police Log: Theft From Student, Arrest Made During Traffic Staff & More

April 15

Arrest

At approximately 8:45 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on an Audi Q5 operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and State Street. As a result of the investigation, one male subject was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office and transported without incident.

Fraud

At approximately 10 a.m., a Newtown Township resident contacted police to report a fraud involving the theft of his banking information, debit card, and social security card. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

April 18

Theft

At approximately 5 p.m., police received the report of a theft from a Bucks County Community College student. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

April 19

Fraud

A Newtown Township resident responded to headquarters around 1 p.m. to report a fraud involving a stolen identity and $11,000 furniture purchase. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
