WEATHER FOR THE WEEK: Shower & Storm Chances

This week will provide some chances of showers and storms after some very dry weather.

Below is the forecast for week ahead:

Monday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 3pm. High near 81. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Monday Night: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1am. Patchy fog after 9pm. Low around 59. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
Tuesday Night: A slight chance of showers after 3am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 60. South wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 77. South wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a slight chance of showers between 9pm and 3am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 82.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 59.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82.
