Officer Colin Murphy was recently promoted to a full-time job by the Upper Makefield Township Board of Supervisors.
Murphy began his journey with the Upper Makefield Police Department in April 2023 as a part-time officer.
Having successfully navigated his way through his time as a part-time officer, Murphy is set to complete his field training program later this month and will now move to a full-time role.
Prior to joining the Upper Makefield Township Police Department, Murphy served in the Yardley Borough Police Department.
In 2019, Murphy earned a bachelor’s degree from Temple University. He is a proud alumnus of Council Rock South High School, graduating in 2014.
