The Comedy Works Bristol (located inside Georgine’s Restaurant, 1320 Newport Rd., Bristol) presents Weekend Comedy Shows on Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15, 2023. Both shows start at 8 PM.
The show will headline National Touring Comedian, Matt Faison in an exclusive Comedy event with Gary Sharp Jr.
Matt Faison grew up in Bucks County and has worked his way up the Comedy ladder as an edgy Comedian who has a distant blue collar point of view playing Comedy clubs throughout the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and tours nationally.
Matt started his Comedy career complaining about life growing up as a single male dating, drinking and working his day job to pay for drinking which seemed to keep him busy all day long.
Now Matt is married to his beautiful wife Amanda and no longer has to date, but still has to work his day job to pay for everything else that comes with being married to the woman he loves. Married life has given Matt a lot of new things to think about which he shares with the audience on stage. It’s funny, thought provoking and less expensive than drinking or paying for a therapist.
Gary Sharp is a Philly based stand-up comedian who grew up in New Jersey and pursued a career in construction project management before realizing that he was hilarious and decided to tell dick jokes in dive bars for the rest of his life. He enjoys sharing his unique perspective about family, social issues, relationships, both romantic and platonic.
After starting comedy in 2019, he has traveled up and down the East Coast in search of Comedy Shows to become one of the most sought after acts in the area. He placed 3rd in the 2021 Philly’s Phunniest Stand Up competition at the renowned Helium Comedy Club. He has also performed at illustrious venues such as Comic Strip Live (NYC), Broadway Comedy Club (NYC), Helium Comedy Club (Philly), Soul Joel’s Comedy Club, Tropicana Casino (Atlantic City), Punch Line Philly Comedy Club, Idiot Box Comedy Club (Greensboro), and Comedy Works Bristol.
Also on the show is a special guest Host and MC.

The Comedy Works Bristol is the perfect place for Stand-up Comedy with over 40 years of history in the Philadelphia area. Unlike many of the Comedy Clubs in the area, we feature great Comedy with NO drink minimums, FREE Parking and tableside wait staff service.
Tickets are limited and seating is still socially distanced to keep our audience, performers and staff safe. The doors will be open at 7:15 PM with great food (small plate fare) or drinks available before or during the show at reasonable prices. (additional cost)
