Avi Wisnia, a singer-songwriter and Bucks County native, is set to take the stage for a special cause this weekend.
Wisnia will take part in a benefit concert Saturday at the Yardley Community Center theater at 64 South Main Street at 7 p.m.
Wisnia is aiming to support the United Way of Bucks County’s HELP Center in Bristol Borough. The center aids Bucks Countians by providing essential items like cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, and home goods through a dignified personal shopping experience. The items are provided at no cost.
“The HELP Center provides vital support to families in need in our community. This benefit concert not only promises an evening of remarkable music but also contributes to a cause that touches lives in a meaningful way,” said Sheri Ratner, impact director for United Way of Bucks County’s HELP Center.
The concert, which is sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Lower Bucks, will feature an array of Wisnia’s original tracks from his studio albums. Attendees can also look forward to renditions of popular classics.
Admission is $25, and tickets are on sale at www.bit.ly/UWBenefit-2023.
