August 25

Contractor Fraud

A Newtown Township resident contacted police around 3:30 p.m. to report fraud. A contractor he hired swindled him, and the total value of loss was $16,000. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

August 26

Retail Theft

Police were dispatched to CVS in Wrightstown Township around 11:45 am for the report of a retail theft. The total value of loss was approximately $1,715, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.

August 30

Theft

At noon, police were contacted in regards to thefts from a construction site in Newtown Township. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Fraud

A Newtown Township resident responded to headquarters around 3:35 pm to report fraudulent charges on his credit card. The bank investigated the matter, and the resident was not held responsible and did not suffer a monetary loss.
