A section of River Road (Route 32) in Lower Makefield and Upper Makefield townships will undergo emergency pipe replacement this week.
Travel restrictions will be in place on Thursday, September 14, and Friday, September 15, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to PennDOT.
During these times, River Road will be closed to traffic from Mount Eyre Road to Woodside Road in the two townships.
PennDOT has asked drivers to use the following roads as detours: Mount Eyre Road, Taylorsville Road, and Woodside Road.
Local access along River Road will be maintained despite the closures.
Drivers traveling near the affected area should anticipate delays and are encouraged to allot extra travel time.
