Burglary Captured On Surveillance Images In Upper Makefield

Police said the suspect flash a hand sign directly at the security camera.

Authorities are investigating a break-in that occurred early Monday morning in Upper Makefield Township.

At approximately 5 a.m., an unidentified subject unlawfully entered a vacant residence in the 1400 block of Wrightstown Road through a small, unlocked window.

Surveillance footage showed the individual exiting the home an hour later through the front door. As the subject departed, they paused to flash a hand sign directly at the camera, police said.

The individual was later spotted walking south on Eagle Road near Newtown Grant after the incident, police said.

The break-in wasn’t discovered until after 1 p.m. on Monday.
