Council Rock Election Brings New Faces To Board

A look at the results for the Council Rock School Board race.

The contentious Council Rock School Board race came to a conclusion Tuesday with the general election.

In Region 1, the four-year term went to Democrat Tracey Osecki, who beat Republican Natalya Khavulya.

For the Region 2 seat, which has a four-year term, incumbent Ed Tate, a Democrat, held the seat amid a challenge from Republican Jonathan Seamans.

Incumbent Republican Joe Hidalgo bested Democrat Matthew Laskowski for the Region 4 four-year term.

In Region 5, Democrat Linda Stone won the race over current School Board President Ed Salamon, a Republican. The term is four years.

The four-year term in Region 7 was won by Anne Horner, a Republican. She held back a challenge from Democrat Kimberly Winnick.

Democrat Nicole Khan beat Republican Stephen Nowmos for the Region 9 seat. The term is two years.
