April 5

DUI

At approximately 11:42 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Ford truck operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Swamp Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

April 6

DUI

At approximately 11:39 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Kia sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Barclay Street and Winchester Lane. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

April 8

Drug Arrest

At approximately 2:02 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Honda sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Martin Court and Fountain Farm Lane. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered and seized as evidence, and the driver was arrested.

April 11

Drug Arrest

At approximately 10:09 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a GMC operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Campus Drive. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered and seized as evidence and a male passenger was arrested in connection.

DUI

At approximately 10:16 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Honda sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Durham Road and Pineville Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
