Wrightstown Township is searching for a new township manager after current administrator Stacey Mulholland announced her departure.

Mulholland, who has led the township administration since July 2022, is leaving to become the township manager in Plumstead Township this month. She previously served as a Plumstead Township supervisor for 14 years.

The Wrightstown Township Board of Supervisors appointed Gregg Schuster as interim township manager at a recent meeting.

Schuster began his role this week and will be paid $150 an hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week, per officials.

Schuster previously served as township manager in Warminster Township and Pocono Township. He hold an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in business management.

Prior to working in Wrightstown Township, Mulholland worked for the Delaware River Basin Commission and was a deputy chief of staff and district director for former U.S. Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick. She presently serves as executive director of the Bucks County Association of Township Officials.

In Plumstead Township, Mulholland replaces Angela Benner, who recently left to become Warrington Township manager.

Wrightstown Township has 3,200 residents and Plumstead Township had 14,300 residents.
