Newtown Will Celebrate Little League Team’s Return From World Series

The team will be welcomed home on Wednesday.

The community is set to welcome home the Council Rock Newtown Little League team after their run at the Little League World Series.

The team will be greeted at Chandler Fields in Newtown Borough on Wednesday, August 21, between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The local stars ended their journey with a 3-1 defeat against East Maui, Hawaii, on Tuesday evening.

The Council Rock Newtown team kicked off their series with a loss but bounced back with wins on Friday and Sunday.

Throughout their series run, the team was supported by spirited community watch parties across the Newtown area.

The team was undefeated in their regular season and the playoffs leading up to the Little League World Series.

The team roster includes players Rocco DaBronzo, Brayden Peiffer, Brody Gage, Greyson Gage, Nick Schiller, Dean Hamilton, Will Siveter, Gavin Caudill, Ryan Uhl, Saverio Longo, Tyler Neeld, Tyler Wexler, and Wes Esteves. They were led by Manager Brad Hamilton and Coaches Doug Peiffer and Kyle Neeld.
