Work has begun on Wrightstown Road and that means the road will be closed.
Starting last Friday through Friday, September 27, Wrightstown Road will be closed weekdays between Durham Road (Route 413) and Washington Crossing Road (Route 532) in Wrightstown and Upper Makefield townships, according to PennDOT.
The closure is due to planned base repairs to the road surface.
During the road closure, drivers are being directed to use Durham Road, Stoopville Road, and Washington Crossing Road, PennDOT officials said.
Local access to the area will be maintained during the work.
PennDOT has advised to driver to allow extra time when traveling in the area.
