State Sen. Frank Farry will be hosting a free Senior Expo designed for residents of the Sixth Senatorial District and their families.
The event will take place on Thursday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northampton Valley Country Club at 299 Richboro Road in Northampton Township.
The expo will serve as a resource for seniors and provide access to exhibitors from state, federal, county, and local agencies.
Additionally, the event will feature a variety of health-related services, including screenings and a station for processing senior SEPTA key cards.
A prescription take-back box will be available on-site for safe disposal of unused medications.
New to the expo this year are flu and COVID-19 vaccinations from Giant Pharmacy in partnership with the Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership.
“This is a great ‘one-stop shop’ opportunity for seniors to gather valuable information and meet face to face with people in our area who can assist them with a wide range of services,” Farry said. “I always look forward to the expo and encourage all older residents and their families to come out to this informative and fun day.”
Staff members from Farry’s office will also be present to address any state-related issues or questions attendees might have.
