Residents of Bucks County may spot the first snowflakes of the season this Friday, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service’s regional office.
Friday is expected to bring rain, but there’s a possibility of snow mixing in. Any snowfall is not anticipated to accumulate significantly.
The wintry mix could return Friday night into early Saturday morning, but by Saturday daytime, the skies are expected to clear up for a sunny weekend.
The potential brief snow comes following a prolonged dry spell in the region, which has been grappling with a serious drought after weeks without significant rainfall.
