January 24

DUI

At 12:05 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a SUV operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Second Street Pike and Durham Road in Wrightstown Township. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

Fraud

A Newtown Township resident responded to headquarters at 3 p.m. to report contractor fraud. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

January 27

Arrest

At approximately 8 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Edge operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the 100 block of Pheasant Run. As a result of the investigation, the operator was taken into custody on active arrest warrants from multiple police agencies and transferred without incident.
