The Newtown Artesian Water Company has begun an upgrade of the water main beneath the unit block of West Centre Avenue.

The work, which started this week, is taking place between South State Street and South Sycamore Street in Newtown Borough.
The project is expected to last about two weeks.
The one-block section of Centre Avenue will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until the project is completed.
