Police Log: Dirt Bike Stolen, Wanted Subjects Arrested & More

April 18

Theft

At approximately 7:45 p.m., a Newtown Township resident responded to headquarters to report the theft of a dirt bike. The incident was referred to the Detective Division for further investigation.

April 19

Theft

At approximately 1:15 p.m., a Newtown Township resident contacted police to report a porch theft. The total value of loss was $100.

At approximately 11 a.m., police were dispatched to Ulta Beauty on South Eagle Road for the report of a retail theft, not in progress.

April 20

Arrest

At approximately 3 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Mercedes-Benz operator in the area of West Road and Durham Road. As a result of the investigation, the operator was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant from the Edgewater Police Department (NJ) without incident. 

April 21

Arrest

At approximately 11:30 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Kia sedan operator in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Richboro Road. As a result of the investigation, the operator was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant from the Bristol Borough Police Department without incident. 

April 23

Theft

At approximately 2 p.m., police received the report of a construction site theft that occurred in Newtown Township. The estimated loss was $1,200.

April 25

Fraud

At approximately 9:45 a.m., a Newtown Township resident contacted police to report fraudulent transactions from his savings accounts. The incident was documented, and the resident was advised to contact his banks, credit card companies, and credit bureaus to further monitor his accounts.

April 29

Identity Theft

At approximately 4:05 p.m., a Newtown Township resident contacted police to report identity theft. The incident was documented, and the resident was advised to contact her banks, credit card companies, and credit bureaus to further monitor her accounts.
