No Injuries Reported In Wrightstown House Fire

The cause is being investigated.

A fire last Friday morning heavily damaged a two-story home in Wrightstown Township, which led to a large response.

The fire marshal is currently investigating the cause of the blaze, which officials said resulted in no injuries.

Firefighters were dispatched at 1:19 a.m. Friday to a house fire in the 1000 block of Cherry Lane.

The chief of the Lingohocken Fire Company arrived to find a single-family dwelling with advanced fire burning throughout the structure, according to the fire company.

The chief sized up the blaze and called for a tanker task force to assist with water supply.

Crews from several lower and central Bucks County fire companies were able to place the fire under control.

The Lingohocken Fire Company said the residents had already safely evacuated and gathered at their designated household meeting place by the time crews arrived. The fire company noted the incident as a critical reminder for residents to review home escape plans with their families to prevent future tragedies.

The Lingohocken Fire Company was assisted at the scene by the Newtown Fire Rescue, Northampton Fire Department, Upper Makefield Fire Company, Midway Fire Company, New Hope Eagle Fire Company, Warwick Fire Company, Doylestown Fire Company, Point Pleasant Fire Company, Plumsteadville Fire Company, and Southampton Fire Company.

Community members, friends, and neighbors have organized support efforts for the family as they recover from the loss. A Meal Train and a GoFundMe campaign have been established to provide food and financial assistance during the recovery process.
