Shoppers looking for unique artisan gifts will have a chance to browse a wide variety of handmade items on Saturday, Oct. 10, when McConkey’s Market returns to Washington Crossing Historic Park.

In its 12th outing, the event draws thousands of shoppers to check out nearly 100 vendors offering artisan crafts, up-cycled items, handmade jewelry, original photography and art, pottery, vintage clothing, reclaimed furniture, and collectibles. Live music and multiple food vendors will also be featured on-site.
The market gets its name from the park’s historic McConkey Ferry Inn, with portions of the building dating to 1750. Representing a typical country tavern or inn from the Revolutionary era, local tradition holds that George Washington dined at the establishment prior to his famous crossing of the Delaware River.
