A section of the farm is eyed for redevelopment, with a large portion to continue it current use. Shady Brook Farm plans to continue operating.

Below is the farm’s press release on the changes:

For three decades, millions of twinkling lights have transformed Shady Brook Farm into one of the region’s most recognizable holiday destinations. What began as a seasonal attraction has become a cherished tradition for generations of families throughout Bucks County and the surrounding communities.

As Shady Brook Farm prepares to celebrate another holiday season, the farm is also looking toward the future, announcing that 2026 will be the final year for its traditional two-mile drive-through Holiday Light Show in its current format.

The decision comes as both Shady Brook Farm and the surrounding community continue to grow and evolve. Over the years, changes in the area have brought new challenges to hosting an attraction of this size and scale. The farm is taking this opportunity to explore new approaches to its holiday celebrations that balance the guest experience with consideration for its neighbors and the surrounding community.

“For 30 years, we’ve had the privilege of being part of so many families’ holiday traditions,” said Dave Fleming, owner of Shady Brook Farm. “We know how much the Holiday Light Show means to our guests, and it means just as much to us. As our community has grown, we’ve recognized the need to think differently about how we bring this experience to life. Our commitment to creating holiday memories hasn’t changed, and we’re excited about the possibilities ahead.”

While the traditional drive-through format will change, Shady Brook Farm emphasized that its holiday celebrations and the Holiday Light Show are not coming to an end. Plans are underway to reimagine the experience for 2027 and beyond, with a continued focus on bringing families together and creating memorable seasonal experiences.

In the meantime, guests will have one more opportunity to enjoy the classic two-mile drive-through just as they have for years.
