Local authorities are probing a retail theft involving of a hair care product.
Newtown Township police said 37 bottles of Olepex leave-in hair conditioner, collectively valued at $1,220 was stolen from the McCaffery’s Food Market in the Village of Newtown shopping complex around 8:05 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26.
Surveillance footage showed three suspects – a man and two women – who are believed to be involved, police said.
The trio were seen operating a dark-colored Mazda SUV, police said.
The same individuals appear to have targeted McCaffery’s Food Market in New Hope Borough later that day. Police in that borough said more than $1,100 in hair product was stolen.
Newtown Township Police have asked anyone who can identify the suspects, their vehicle, or who has further information related to the thefts to come forward. Witnesses can reach out to the Newtown Township Police Department directly or use the “Submit a tip” option on Crimewatch.
