Theft Of $1,220 Worth Of Hair Conditioner Investigated By Newtown Twp. Police

Local authorities are probing a retail theft involving of a hair care product.

Newtown Township police said 37 bottles of Olepex leave-in hair conditioner, collectively valued at $1,220 was stolen from the McCaffery’s Food Market in the Village of Newtown shopping complex around 8:05 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26.

Surveillance footage showed three suspects – a man and two women – who are believed to be involved, police said.

The trio were seen operating a dark-colored Mazda SUV, police said.

The same individuals appear to have targeted McCaffery’s Food Market in New Hope Borough later that day. Police in that borough said more than $1,100 in hair product was stolen.
