New details have been released on an armed robbery last month where a man was robbed of a high-value watch at gunpoint.

Two suspects approached the victim around 8 p.m. on Sept. 11 in the Norwalk development and made off with his watch, Newtown Township police said.

Initially, officials did not provide a value for the stolen item.

However, a Wednesday report from 6abc revealed that the victim was a jeweler who owns a store on Philadelphia’s Jeweler’s Row.

The rose-colored Patek Philippe watch is estimated to be worth between $150,000 and $170,000, according to the report.

The victim’s cell phone was also stolen during the incident.

The jeweler had previously showcased the acquisition of the luxury timepiece on Instagram, a post believed to have attracted the attention of the culprits, 6abc said.

Investigators told 6abc that surveillance images captured a 2020 black Toyota Avalon, which may be connected to the robbery.

Witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored car speeding away from the scene, last spotted heading toward I-295 on the Newtown Bypass.

While the jeweler was unharmed, the incident prompted a significant manhunt with officers from multiple departments.

No arrests have been made in the case.

Anyone with details on the case has been asked to report them to police via CrimeWatch.
