Bath and Body Works is gearing up to open a new store in the Village at Newtown in the coming months.
The popular chain known for its extensive range of bath, beauty, and fragrance products has leased a 2,326-square-foot space nestled between Crumbl Cookies and Bomba Taco and Bar, according to the shopping center’s website.
The news of Bath & Body Works’ latest expansion emerged on social media Wednesday. It appeared to have been discovered by an observant Newtown Township resident who noticed a job listing for a manager at the planned location.
The Newtown Township store will adds to the chain’s footprint in Bucks County. There are already three other locations at the Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem Township, Oxford Valley Mall in Middletown Township, and the Shops at Valley Square in Warrington Township.
Despite reporting a slight 1.7 percent dip in its full-year 2023 earnings with $7.4 billion, the Ohio-based retailer has more than 1,700 stores across North America and several more globally.
The company was founded in 1990.
The Village at Newtown said in marketing materials that it has more than 13,300 daily visits.
