June 1

DUI

At approximately 2:45 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan Pathfinder operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Woodbourne Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Suspected narcotics and drug equipment were discovered and seized as evidence. The operator refused to submit blood for chemical testing, and charges are pending.

June 2

Arrest

At approximately 9:45 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Pilot operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Woodbourne Road. As a result of the investigation, the operator was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department and transferred without incident.

June 3

Drug Arrest

At approximately 3:45 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Edge operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Washington Crossing and Stoopville Road. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered and seized as evidence. Charges are pending.

DUI

At approximately 6:30 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Pilot operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the 200 block of Stoopville Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

June 6

Theft

At approximately 11:15 a.m., police were dispatched for the report of a cooking oil theft. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Retail Theft

At approximately 1:30 p.m., police were dispatched for a retail theft that occurred at Ulta Beauty. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
