A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries following a collision with a vehicle on Swamp Road in Wrightstown Township on Friday afternoon, police said.
Newtown Township police, who patrol Wrightstown Township, were dispatched to the 500 block of Swamp Road at 1:42 p.m. after the report of the crash.
According to police, the motorcycle operator was traveling eastbound along Swamp Road with a group of other motorcyclists when the crash occurred.
The collision happened as a vehicle was exiting the Parkwood Therapeutic Riding Center/Farm. The vehicle was attempting to turn northbound onto Swamp Road when it came into contact with the motorcycle, police said.
The injured motorcyclist was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township for treatment of critical injuries.
Swamp Road was closed between Worthington Mill Road and Second Street Pike (Route 232) for the crash investigation.
