Council Rock Newtown Little League Team Concludes Journey At World Series

The local team’s run at the Little League World series has ended.


The Council Rock Newtown Little League team’s run in the Little League World Series concluded Tuesday afternoon following a lost in the in the consolation bracket.

The local team lost 3-1 to East Maui, Hawaii, at the Little League World Series in Williamsport.

The Council Rock Newtown Little League team’s journey at the series had a mix of setbacks and victories, beginning with a loss in their opening match last Wednesday. However, the team secured a victory last Friday and another win on Sunday before facing off against East Maui.

The defeat halts their advancement in the series, as East Maui moves forward to play against the winner of Tuesday night’s game. The next game for East Maui is scheduled for Wednesday.

The Council Rock Newtown Little League team was celebrated with watch parties in the Newtown area over the past week.

The team featured Rocco DaBronzo, Brayden Peiffer, Brody Gage, Greyson Gage, Nick Schiller, Dean Hamilton, Will Siveter, Gavin Caudill, Ryan Uhl, Saverio Longo, Tyler Neeld, Tyler Wexler, Wes Esteves, Manager Brad Hamilton, Coach Doug Peiffer, and Coach Kyle Neeld.
