Newtown Police Seek Public’s Help In Identifying Car Theft Suspect

Police have requested the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a vehicle theft early Sunday morning outside a local 7-Eleven store.

At approximately 5:48 a.m., Newtown Township police were called to the scene at Richboro Road and South Sycamore Street where a grey 2020 four-door Toyota Camry was reported stolen.

According to police, the vehicle was left unattended and running in the parking lot when it was taken.

The male suspect was captured on surveillance cameras at the time of the theft.

Investigators have released the images in hopes that members of the public can help identify the man.

Investigators are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward. Tips can be submitted by calling the Newtown Township Police Department at 215-579-1000 or through the “submit a tip” feature on their CrimeWatch page.
