For vice presidential candidate U.S. Sen. JD Vance’s visit to the Newtown Athletic Club in Newtown Township, the Pennsylvania State Police and local officers will be blocking several roads Monday.
Troopers said the traffic disruption and closures will take place between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. in Lower Bucks County.
I-295 in Lower Makefield Township northbound and southbound and Yardley-Newtown Road in Lower Makefield and Newtown townships will be impacted, state police said.
“It is anticipated these traffic disruptions will cause other roads throughout the region to also beĀ impacted,” troopers said.
Vance, former President Donald Trump’s running mate, is set to speak at 8:30 p.m.
The Republican candidate’s campaign plane is landing and taking off from Trenton-Mercer Airport in New Jersey.
