The Newtown area awoke Saturday to find a fluffy coating of snow.
The snow started Friday afternoon and continued until the early morning hours on Saturday.
The snow wasn’t enough for major plowing operations, but it did lead to road crews salting roads and plowing companies clearing local parking lots. Sledders were spotted in Bristol Borough enjoying the snow.

Some flurries are expected to hang around through Saturday afternoon, but clear skies will follow and last through Monday.
