The Newtown Business Association has named Suzanne Raschhofer its new administrator, the organization announced.
Raschhofer, a longtime Newtown resident, brings more than 20 years of administrative experience to the role.
The new administrator worked in the legal, healthcare, education, and manufacturing sectors.
In her new position, Raschhofer will support the NBA’s daily operations, coordinate member communications, manage event logistics and assist with website and marketing initiatives.
“We’re thrilled to have Suzanne join the NBA,” said NBA President Dave Marcolla. “Her experience, energy, and passion for supporting local businesses align perfectly with our mission. I’m confident she will be a tremendous resource for our members and the greater Newtown business community.”
Raschhofer said she was looking forward to her new role.
“I’m honored to be part of an organization that plays such a vital role in supporting Newtown’s local businesses,” she said. “I look forward to working with the NBA board and our members to continue building a strong and connected business community.”
The Newtown Business Association repreents businesses in the area. It also organizes a number of events, including Welcome Day, the Newtown Antique and Classic Car Show, and Newtown Holiday Parade.
