The Newtown Business Association will be hosting its popular Newtown Welcome Day on Sunday.
The festival will be held rain or shine along North Sycamore Street from Jefferson Street to Durham Road from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event that typically draws about 5,000 people will featured live music, family activities, food, drinks, a moon bounce, artisans and crafters, entertainers, and giveaways.
The festival celebrates the “vibrant spirit” of the Newtown community and many businesses.
Newtown Township police said North Sycamore Street from Durham Road to Jefferson Street and Silo Drive at North Sycamore Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the event.
